Paper Jam 1: Breaking News

Breaking News is the first of many jams for young percussion groups, handy for schools with limited access to instruments. The ‘Paper Jam’ series will suit ensembles containing various age or ability groups. It is designed to inspire groove and feel quickly, and reduce risks for performers with little experience to maximise their success. Some interesting eighth and sixteenth note combinations are incorporated to challenge those needing extension.
